• Press start (please insert the icon) if you wish to launch the automatic
mode.
• Press on timer (please insert the timer icon), if you wish to select your
own cooking time.
• For cooking rice, it is recommended to use the automatic mode of the
CEREAL menu, and follow the instructions of rice/water ratio stated
below, in order to obtain the best cooking result.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BEST COOKING RICE
• Before cooking, measure the rice with the measuring cup and rinse
it except risotto rice. To measure the rice, fill the CUP (cup provided)
with raw rice, up to the edge (not too much more, not less) in order
to respect the water/rice ratio needed to ensure that your rice will be
cooked perfectly.
• Put the rinsed rice well distributed around the whole surface of the
pot. Fill it with water to the corresponding water level (the graduations
indicate the level of water needed, according to the quantity of rice to
be cooked).
• For example: If you are cooking 1 cup of rice, fill the pot with cold water
until the marking level " 1".
• If you are cooking 2 cups of rice, fill the pot with cold water until the
marking level "2" . Etc...
