Make sure the ventilation slots in the housing are free from obstructions to
ensure adequate cooling.
To maintain the ability of the machine to slide onto the base plate, the
guide rails should be lightly oiled when necessary.
Use a dry or, at the utmost, a slightly moistened cloth to clean the unit. Do
not use abrasives or aggressive chemicals. Never immerse the unit in
liquids of any kind.
If any kind of malfunction occurs while using the unit, immediately stop
using the jointer. Do not attempt to repair it yourself, but contact a profes-
sional of turn to the Westfalia customer service.
Store the biscuit jointer in a dry place and protect the machine from dust
and dirt.
