Changing the Cutter Blade

The biscuit jointer comes with a mounted
cutter blade. If you need to change the
cutter blade due to damage or wear, do as
follows:
1. Loosen the Phillips screws in the base
plate. Now you can flip open the base
plate.
2. Lock the spindle in place with the
spindle lock button (1) and use the flange spanner to loosen the mounting
flange of the cutter blade. It opens in the rotating direction of the cutter
blade. Mount the new cutter blade in the reverse order.
3. Make sure the arrow on the cutter blade corresponds with the arrow on the
transmission housing.

Mounting the Stop Bracket

The included stop bracket (4) allows cutting precise
central grooves into the stock.
1. Set the bracket onto the front plate from above.
With the stop adjustment knob (6) the distance
between the bracket and the cutter blade can be
adjusted. With the locking knob (3) the bracket can
be fixed in the desired height.
2. Before starting work, make sure the bracket is
precisely parallel to the cutter blade.
