 The point angle is set by choosing the fixed grinding
angle and swivel range. Please observe that the point
angle has to differ depending on the material to be pro-
cessed. Examples (guide values):
Aluminium: 130 – 140°,
Copper, brass: 120 – 130°,
Steel, cast iron: 110 – 120°,
Plastics: 50 – 90°.

Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing

 After every use, carefully clean the sharpener and
safely remove the swarf.
 For cleaning, use only a dry cloth, no cleaners contain-
ing organic solvents or alcohol.
 Do not immerse the device into water and do not ex-
pose it to humidity!
 Keep the device, and particularly the adjustment
screws, free from oil and grease.
 Replace a damaged grinding disc immediately – other-
wise there is a serious danger of injury.
