Calibration

If the deviation during the calibration check has been too high, you can correct this by performing a zero
point adjustment. Press the left (rolling menu) key on the instrument twice to enter the menu. Navigate to
the submenu "Options", using the arrow keys. Confirm your selection using the power button. Navigate to
the submenu "Calibrate" and confirm again. In order to calibrate the instrument, you first have to unlock
the menu item. This is done by entering the serial number of the instrument. The serial number can be
found in the battery compartment or in the top right corner of the display when you switch on the device.
Press the up button several times until the cursor is on the first digit of the serial number. After a few
seconds, this digit will be taken over by the device as the first digit. The other three digits have to be
entered the same way. When the serial number has been entered like this completely, you can confirm it
using the power button. Now hold the moisture meter in one hand and make sure that there is nothing
around (distance of 200 mm) the steel sensors. Press the power button and the calibration will be made
and completed after several seconds. During the calibration, hold the device in your hand freely. The
device is ready to use when the display indication changes.
