Cleaning

 Always pull the power plug before undertaking cleaning work.
 Clean the machine after each use. Remove dust and chips
from the feed table and the planing table. Only clean and
smooth tables can guide the stock smoothly.
 Remove chips and dust from the machine after the machine
has come to complete standstill. Clean the machine with a
hand broom or a soft brush.
 Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these could damage
the plastic parts. Ensure that no water can enter into the
machine.
 After extended use and depending on the wood which has
been machined, resin residue will accumulate on the knives
and the knife block. Use a soft cloth and lighter fuel or an
appropriate resin remover to wipe the knives and the knife
block clean. Clean the following parts at regular intervals:
- feed table, planing table, thicknessing table, feed/discharge
rollers, anti-kick claws as well as the knife, latch and knife
block.
 The ventilation slots on the back side of the machine must be
kept clean and free from obstructions at all times.
