5.5 Transportation in vehicles

Lille Viking 2000+ has been crash-tested and approved in accordance with ISO 7176-19. The test has been carried out using a restraining
device (UNWIN_WWR/ATF/K/R) for the wheelchair and a 3-point seat belt (907523 Klippan Safety AB) for the user and a battery holder
for Lille Viking.
Etac recommends in the following order:
• The user transfers to a seat in the vehicle and uses the vehicle's 3-point belt while travelling. The auxiliary motor is then placed in the
boot or safely in the back seat so that it cannot overturn or roll.
• If a wheelchair approved for use as a seat in a vehicle is used, in accordance with ISO 7176-19, Lille Viking can remain mounted on the
wheelchair.
Requirements:
• Lille Viking must be secured using separate straps in accordance with:
Lille Viking 2000+: secure the fastening straps (UNWIN_OF01) around the brace at the marked areas as shown in Figure 1.
Lille Viking 2000+ Flat: place D rings around the wheel axle at the marked areas as shown in Figure 2. Secure the fastening
straps (UNWIN_DR120 and TDM-05569-C) in the D rings as shown in Figure 3.
The wheelchair and user must then be secured in accordance with the instructions provided by the wheelchair manufacturer.
• The manual release handle must be in the operating position.
• Turn off the power using the main power switch.
• Transport securement must be used.

5.6 Mounting

Mounting is done in the opposite order of dismounting.
NOTICE!
Make sure all screws, plugs and quick-releasers are properly fitted / fastened.
To avoid injuries, make sure that the spiral cable cannot be winded into tyres, brakes etc.
Make sure that the wheel bosses on Lille Viking are placed on parallel lines with the wheel bosses on the wheel chair, and that Lille Vi-
king is mounted right in the middle underneath the chair.
