OPC REASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

1. Install the filter (rough side up) & spring (38) inside the inlet
hose port on the OPC. Install o-ring (37) onto the end of the
inlet hose (36).

2. Screw the inlet hose (36)
into the inlet port on the OPC.
Use the torque screwdriver
w/ 1/4" adapter, 1/4" x 3/8"
adapter and the 3/8" crowfoot
to apply 17 in lb / 1.9 Nm of
torque to the fitting on the
inlet hose.
NOTE: The torque driver should be pre-set to 17 in lb / 1.9
Nm The torque driver setting can also be changed with the
adjustment tool and instructions provided in the PHODS tool kit.
3. Install the 6mm connector w/ gasket (39) into the outlet
hose port on the OPC. Use the 3mm hex socket and torque
screwdriver to apply 17 in lb / 1.9 Nm of torque to the 6mm
connector.

4. Install o-ring (34) onto the 90° fitting at the end of the inlet
hose (36).
5. Install o-ring (34) onto the end of the coiled hose fitting (33).
NOTE: White connectors used for clarity.

CANNULA DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the cannula assembly (32) from the 6mm coiled
hose (33). Inspect the cannula for damage or deterioration.
Replace as needed if damage is found. The nosepiece (31)
should be replaced at the time of service for hygenic reasons.
Clean entire assembly in accordance with Procedure A:
Oxygen Cleaning and Lubrication section of the manual.

CANNULA REASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

1. Install the nosepiece (31) back onto the nasal ports of the
cannula (32). Wrap the rubber tab around the cannula and
back over the trimmable nosepiece tabs. The cannula will be
checked during the OPC powerup test.
