Replacing the Battery

Replace the batteries if the battery charge is too low
(avoid full discharge). In this case the "Battery Failure"
operation indication is generated. This message can
also be parameterized on one of the 3 LEDs H1/H2/
ERROR or switched to one of the binary outputs (see
Device Manual SICAM P850/P855, order number
E50417-H1040-C482).
WARNING
Warning of incorrect treatment of the lithium battery (type
PANASONIC CR2032 or VARTA 6032 101 501) or the use
of an incorrect battery type. In the case of incorrect treat-
ment or the wrong battery type, the battery may burn,
explode or trigger a chemical reaction.
See product information for type of battery to be used.
Non-observance may lead to death or serious injury.
Installing the battery or replacing it may only be carried
out by trained personnel (see preface) who are familiar
with and observe the safety requirements and precau-
tions.
Do not reverse the polarity of the battery.
Do not attempt to open the battery.
Do not attempt to recharge the battery.
Servicing of the circuitry involving the batteries and
replacement of the lithium batteries shall be done by a
trained technician.
Replace battery with VARTA 6032 101 501 or
PANASONIC CR2032 only. Use of another battery may
present a risk of fire or explosion. See manual for safety
instructions.
Caution: The battery used in this device may present a
fire or chemical burn hazard if mistreated. Do not
recharge, disassemble, heat above 100 °C (212 °F) or
incinerate.
Dispose of used battery promptly. Keep away from chil-
dren.
