2-4. BDKP-E1004/E1005 Installation

Either BDKP-E1004 (SCR-4 board) or BDKP-E1005
(SCR-5 board) can be installed on the SY-240 board which
has board suffix -13 and higher.
Installation procedures
1. Remove the SY-240 board from the BDX-E1000.
(Refer to the Section 2-1.)
2. Fix the two PCB holders supplied with the BDKP-
E1004/E1005 to the SY-240 board.

3. Match the connectors CN301 and CN302 on the SCR-
4/5 board with the connectors CN901 and CN902 on
the SY-240 board.
4. Connect the connectors on the SCR-4/5 board to the
connectors on the SY-240 board while inserting the
PCB holders through the holes on the SCR-4/5 board.

Make sure that the connectors are connected tightly.

5. Insert the SY-240 board into the Slot No.4. (Refer to
the Section 2-1.)
6. Install the board retainer with the four screws.
7. Close the front panel.
8. Tighten the locking screw.
Confirmation after installation
There is no necessity to confirm/adjust after SCR-4/5
board installing.
