6. Put S201-1 on the SY-240 board to OPEN (upper
position), then turn the power on.
The BDX-E1000 automatically starts according to the
mode which was set in step 3.

∗ : The settings of S201-7 and -8 varies by the selected

The resume function cannot storage the setting mode of
S201-7 (RS-232C/ISR select switch). The RS-232C
control port operates according to the mode selected by
S201-7.

1-9. Setting for Color Frame Information
Transmission
The BDX-E1000 can transmit the color frame information
of input video signal to the BDX-D1000 MPEG Decoder
Unit.

The transmission of the color frame information is possible
with the BDX-E1000 of a serial number 20001 and higher.
Procedures
For details, refer to the User's Guide of the optional
BZX-E1001 Encoding Setup Software.
1. Install the BZX-E1001 on the computer connected to
the BDX-E1000.
2. Click "Sys Config" on the initial display to open
"System-Wide Configuration" window.
3. Click "Video".
4. Select "Digital Composite" or "Analog Composite"
from "Video Input Selection" area according to input
video signal.
5. Click "OK".
6. Click "Output".
7. Check the check-box of "Timecode User Bits" area.
8. Click "OK".
