1-1. Overview
The DVA-P1100 DVD Sub Picture Encoder/Decoder Boards consists of the following boards.
These boards are inserted in the ISA slot of a personal computer, and connected with the flat cable
supplied with the DVA-P1100.
Encoder Block (ENC-49 board) ;
This board converts the input SDI video signal (caption signal) to the sub picture pixel data.
Decoder Block (DEC-104 board) ;
This board converts the sub picture pixel data to the SDI video signal which is superimposed on the input
background video signal and is output.
The pixel data can be synchronized with the time code signal that is input to the encoder block, and is
output.
The DVA-P1100 is supplied with the following parts in addition to the above boards.
