    Intended use The load cell PR 6207 has been designed especially for weighing process vessels and use in beltweighers and platform weighers. When combined with Mounting Kit PR 6007, it compensates for movements caused by mechanical or thermal contraction or expansion of the vessel and/or the supporting construction.

    5 Installation Beam Type Load Cell PR 6207 Installation Safety instructions NOTICE Welding or lightning strike current lowing through the cell can damage it. All electrical welding on the weighing system must be inished before mounting the load cells. When installing the load cell, immediately bypass the load cell with the lexible copper strap provided for this purpose (included in the equipment supplied, see Chapter 4.1).

    6 Connection Beam Type Load Cell PR 6207 Connection General information NOTICE The load cell cable end is protected against contamination and moisture by a protective sheathing. The protective sheathing should only be removed shortly before connecting! Protect the cable ends against contamination. Moisture must not get into the open end of the cable.

Repairs The load cell PR 6207 is designed to be as robust as possible for the required measuring accuracy and is highly reliable. Should an electrical or mechanical defect nevertheless occur, the load cell must be replaced.
