    Montage und Sicherheitshinweise • Die beschriebenen Geräte dienen ausschließlich der Installation von Satelliten-Empfangsanlagen. • Jegliche anderweitige Nutzung oder die Nichtbeachtung dieses Anwen- dungshinweises hat den Verlust der Gewährleistung bzw. Garantie zur Folge. • Die Geräte dürfen nur in trockenen Innenräumen montiert werden. Nicht auf oder an leicht entzündlichen Materialien montieren.
  • Page 5 Kathrein Power Saving Wird ein EXI 3591 alleine betrieben oder zusammen mit anderen Multischaltern die das Kathrein-Power-Saving-Logo tragen, dann kann Kathrein-Power-Saving mit dem Stand-by- Schalter auf „ON“ aktiviert werden. Ist ein Receiver in der Kaskade eingeschaltet, wird der LNB vom End-Multischalter versorgt.

Inbetriebnahme des Modems Das integrierte Modem im Multischalter EXI 3591 sowie das Kathrein-Modem EXI 01 sind ab Werk mit einem Netzwerkschlüssel gesichert. Zur einfachen Inbetriebnahme zweier Modems müssen diese mit einem Koaxialkabel an der Buchse verbunden werden.
  • Page 7 1. Drücken Sie ca. 12 Sekunden auf den Taster „Pairing“. Beide LED erlöschen kurzzeitig. Der Netzwerkschlüssel ist gelöscht. Die LED „Power“ leuchtet „Coax/Link“ bleibt aus. Führen Sie diesen Schritt bei allen Ihren Geräten, die Sie zu einem privaten Netzwerk hinzufügen möchten, durch! 2.

    Installation and Safety • The equipment described is designed solely for the installation of satellite receiver systems. • Any other use or failure to comply with these instructions will void the warranty or guarantee. • The equipment may only be installed in dry areas indoors. Do not install on or against highly combustible materials.

    If an EXI 3591 is run on its own or alongside other multi-switched Kathrein-Power-Saving- logo devices, then Kathrein power saving switch can be activated with the “On” button. If a receiver is switched on in the cascade, from the end of the LNB multiswitch is powered.

  • Page 53 Kathrein Power Saving Se un EXI 3591 viene azionato da solo o insieme con altri commutatori multipli con il logo Kathrein Power Saving, quest'ultimo può essere attivato portando il commutatore di stand-by su «ON». Se un ricevitore viene attivato in cascata, l'LNB viene alimentato dal commutatore multiplo terminale.

Un fi ltro passa-alto integrato per l'ingresso terrestre impedisce la diffusione involontaria dei propri dati di rete tramite un'antenna collegata.
