Be aware that only screws are holding the entire weight of the unit. Size of used screws shall
conform to total load.
6.2. FITTING OUTLET CONNECTION (O1)
Connect Soldering nipple to the outlet and solder pipe of appropriate diameter.
6.3. FITTING PURGE PIPES (E1, E2, E3)
The pipes from safety valve (E3), purge valve (E1) and regulator purge pipe (E2) can (by use of a
T-coupling) be soldered together and have a common outlet outside the building.
6.4. FITTING TO SOURCE OF ELECTRICITY
Fitting must be carried out by a trained person with an appropriate licence according to national
standards.
Act upon instruction for use for gas alarm (like Gas Alarm - C44)
The product must be grounded through the anchor bolt.
6.5. CHECKING OF GAS LABEL
The gas label shall be placed on the regulator. Check in Appendix Nr. 1 - Technical data, what
type of gas can be used for this product. If a wrong gas label has been placed on the product
it is necessary to exchange it for the correct one. Optional gas labels are part of the delivery.
6.6. FITTING HIGH PRESSURE HOSES
Ensure that the shut-off valves V1, V2, V3, V4 and the purge valve V5 are in closed position.
Screw high pressure hoses from cylinders onto the inlet connections (I1, I2, I3) of the collecting
unit C1.
SLOWLY open one cylinder shut off valve (approx. 1 turn) at a time a check one after one all
three hoses / inlet connections for possible leakage using a leak detection fluid.
If no leakage is detected, close all cylinder shut off valves and follow instructions for operation
(chapter 7).
Note: If leakage occurs between high pressure hose and inlet connection check to see if
sealing or washer is fitted correctly or isn't missing. If it is damaged or missing, replace it and
try again.
6.7. REGULATORS SETTINGS
Setting of the unit can be found in the Testing report - see appendix Nr. 1. You can set different
parameters - see below mentioned description.
6.7.1. SET THE DESIRED OPERATING PRESSURE
First remove the protective cover from the front of the regulator.
Unscrew the protective nut from the front of the
regulator.
Adjust the operating pressure with the slotted
head screw while observing the outlet gauge
M2. In order to achieve the correct operating
pressure gas must flow through the regulator
when setting.
Refit the protective nut and protective cover
when the adjustment is completed.
