R1 – REGULATOR MMR
Unit consists of one double stage regulator that reduces the pressure from cylinder pressure
to the required stabile outlet pressure in hospital central gas supply systems. Information about
setting can be found in testing report delivered with the product.
M1 - INLET GAUGES
Regulator R1 is equipped with high pressure gauge. This gauge shows pressure in the supply-
ing cylinder(s). If the product is equipped with contact gauge then this gauges send s informa-
tion about pressure to the alarm system.
H1 – PRESSURE ADJUSTING SCREW
Using the pressure adjusting screw on the regulator you can change setting of outlet pressure.
M2 - OUTLET GAUGE
Regulator R1 is equipped with one outlet gauge that shows pressure supplied into the pipeline.
EN
S1 - SAFETY VALVE
The regulator contains one safety valve. When the outlet pressure increase up to pre-set limit,
the safety valve activates and gas is purged out.
E2 – PURGE PIPE FROM THE REGULATOR SAFETY VALVE
Safety valve on the regulator is made for pipe of 8 mm. The purge pipe must go outside of the
manifold room as is described in installation standard.
S2 - SAFETY VALVE
At the variant with safety valve there is ensured that in case of malfunction the gas pressure
distributed into the pipeline will not exceed 10 bar. Safety valve is equipped with manual drain
for simulation of the safety valve function.
E3 – PURGE PIPE FROM THE SAFETY VALVE
5.1. Purge pipe from safety valve has external dimension 15 mm. The purge pipe must go out-
side of the manifold room as is described in installation standard.
O1 - OUTLET CONNECTION
5.2. Through outlet connecting the gas of reduced pressure is supplied into the pipeline.
Outlet connection must be soldered to the pipeline.
Z2 - MOUNTING PLATE FOR SAFETY VALVE
5.3. Mounting plate Z2 is used to fix the safety valve on the wall.
6. INSTALLATION
It is necessary that an installer of the unit is trained and has an appropriate licence according
to national standards. It is outside the scope of these operating
instructions to give detailed guidance on installations.

SYSTEMS
EN ISO 7396-1 as amended and standards for electro installations.
All tests according to these standards have to be fulfilled.
When working with medical gases it is essential that no oil or
grease come into contact with the gas. This means that hands,
tools and work clothes must be free from oil or grease before any
work is undertaken. Components used for service must be gas
compatible. For oxygen service must also be degreased and al-
though they will reach you in this condition care must be taken
during storage and handling.
6.1. WALL FIXING
Positioning of the manifold, please consult with responsible central
gas system designer. Mount the manifold at the height to suit the
cylinders.
The holes to use for mounting the manifold are shown on the
mounting plates Z1 and Z2 in fig. 2.
