5. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The manifold covered by these instructions consists of one group of cylinders (three cylinders)
only. Cylinders can be used one by one or all three at the same time.

C1 - COLLECTING UNIT MANYFLOW
Collecting unit MANYFLOW is a compact, flexible high pressure valve unit for use of medical
gases. MANYFLOW is intended for maximum 3 cylinders. All inlets (I1, I2, I3) on the valve unit,
designed to operate to a max. inlet pressure of 200 bar, are equipped with a non-return valve.
I1, I2, I3 – INLET CONNECTIONS
The unit contains three threaded inlet connections that fit to the high pressure hoses.
F1, F2, F3 – FILTERS
The unit contains three high pressure filters with integrated non-return valves that are installed
on each inlet of the unit. These filters are easily maintained.
V1, V2, V3 – INLET SHUT OFF VALVES
The unit contains three inlet shut off valves that are used to open and close the main high pres-
sure from first, second and/or third cylinder. Each shut off valve is dedicated to one cylinder.
Cylinders can be used either one at a time or all together.
V4 – MAIN SHUT OFF VALVE
Main shut off valve opens and closes gas supply into the regulator and main pipeline.
V5 – PURGE VALVE
The collecting unit contains one purge valve. Through the purge valve high pressure is venti-
lated from the collecting unit and hoses before removing high pressure hoses from the cylin-
ders. Purge valve is also used to ventilate the remaining unwanted air from collecting unit/high
pressure hoses before supplying gas to the main pipeline. Outlet of purge valve has a threaded
connection. Purge valve must be connected to purge pipe E1.
E1 – PURGE PIPE FROM PURGE VALVE
Purge pipe from purge valve has external dimension 15 mm. The purge pipe must go outside of
the manifold room as described in installation standard.
Z1 – MANYFLOW MOUNTING PLATE
Mounting plate Z1 is used to fix the MANYFLOW unit on the wall.
