Warranty

Provided that the helmet is used exclusively for its intended purpose at all times,
SCHUBERTH guarantees this helmet for a period of 2 years as from date of
manufacture in respect of material and production defects; this warranty is given
to the initial purchaser. SCHUBERTH's liability is restricted to the repair or
replacement of products as it sees fi t and provided that the defect in question
has verifi ably arisen within the warranty period. The helmet must not differ from
its original state and/or be damaged as result of improper use.

Maintenance

The helmet must be regularly inspected and serviced by appropriately qualifi ed
specialists only. Only original parts which have been approved and released by
SCHUBERTH may be used for servicing purposes.
Storage and transport
Firefi ghter helmets should be stored in a cool, dry and protected place. Even
though the helmet shell is resistant to UV rays, keep your helmet away from direct
sunlight when stored in order to prevent possible damage to the luminous lacquer.
In normal use, we recommend leaving the visor mounted on the helmet when
storing. In all cases avoid storage near aggressive substances such as solvents
and fuels. If adequately wrapped in packing paper, the helmet can be transported
in its box.

Only use accessories listed in the above list of replacement parts and accessories.
All other parts of the helmet are safety-relevant components and may only be
replaced by appropriately trained personnel or at the SCHUBERTH Service Centre.
Important: Removable parts are not to be worn and used separately. The
wearing/use of a further part of the personal protective equipment or of
accessories (apart from accessories supplied by the manufacturer for use with
this helmet) can lead to a situation in which a helmet marked as compliant with
EN 443:2008 might no longer meet all requirements specifi ed by this standard.
In such cases the relevant information provided by the manufacturer must be
referred to.
Helmet marking
Each protective helmet is marked with the date of manufacture, codes of the
materials used in its manufacture, the type and size, and the symbols for optional
safety requirements. This marking can be found on the inner surface of the helmet
shell's rear section.
