Adjusting the temperature

You are able to adjust the temperature of the
shower water itself to the required level by turning
the control of the thermostat.
Remark:
For reasons of safety, the temperature is
mechanically limited to 38°C. To cancel this safety
limitation, press the red button which is located
on the tap. It is now possible to set a higher
temperature.
Extreme caution is advised when increasing the temperature above 38°C.
The person who is to be showered is possibly not able to indicate that the
water is too warm!
Use of the hand-held shower
The Amfora is equipped with two hand-held showers, fitted with push buttons. These
hand-held showers are located on each side of the unit.
• One white hand-held shower for washing the resident / patient.
• One red hand-held shower for disinfecting chairs and trolleys after each use. A sticker
has been placed on this red hand-held shower, printed with the word "DISINFECTION".
This hand-held shower is connected to the tank containing disinfectant. The
disinfectant is automatically sucked up and mixed when the button on the shower is
pressed.
• If the correct taps are opened on the Amfora, pressing the black button will cause the
water to flow from the shower head. By pressing the button further in, or by pressing
it less the amount of water can be regulated.
Important: never use the disinfectant shower head when washing a resident
/ patient!
