This user's guide describes the characteristics, operation and use of the ADS8354EVM and
ADS7854EVM performance demonstration kits (PDKs). These kits are evaluation platforms for the
ADS8354 and ADS7854, dual-channel, 16-bit and 14-bit, simultaneous sampling, successive
approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that support fully-differential analog
inputs. These EVMs ease the evaluation of the ADS8354 and ADS7854 devices with hardware and
software for computer connectivity through a universal serial bus (USB). This user's guide includes
complete circuit descriptions, schematic diagrams, and bills of material.
Throughout this document, the terms ADSxx54EVM-PDK, demonstration kit, evaluation board, evaluation
module are synonymous with the ADS8354EVM-PDK and ADS7854EVM-PDK.
