Light Switch
Use the light switch (Figure
headlights. Push the light switch up to turn on the
headlights. Push the light switch down to turn off the
lights.
Hour Meter
The hour meter indicates the total hours of machine
operation. The hour meter
whenever you rotate the key switch to the O
or if the engine is running.
Battery Light
The battery light (Figure

when the engine is running. If the light remains on
while the engine is running, the alternator, battery, or
electrical system is damaged.
Engine Oil-Pressure Light
The engine oil-pressure light
the engine-oil pressure drops below a safe level to
operate the engine. If the light comes on and remains
lit, shut off the engine, and check the engine-oil level.
Add oil to the engine if necessary; refer to
the Engine Oil (page 32).
Note:
The oil light may flicker; this is normal and no
action is needed.
Engine Coolant-Temperature Light
The engine coolant-temperature light
you that the coolant temperature of the engine is
too hot to continue operating the engine (the engine
is overheating). Shut off the engine and allow the
machine to cool down. Check the coolant level and
the belts to the fan and water pump. Fill the coolant
reservoir with coolant as necessary and replace any
worn, damaged, or slipping belts.
Important:
If the engine overheating problem
persists, contact your Authorized Service Dealer
for diagnostics and repair.
Glow-Plug Indicator Light
The glow-plug indicator light
when the glow plugs are activated.
