MAINTENANCE

UR Fog generators do not require special care, however, it recommended an annual inspection by qualified and
authorized personnel, taking into account the following:
- The charged cylinders have a predetermined duration of 3years.
- The expiry date is printed on the top of the cylinder.
- Annually check the functioning of the cylinder plates.
- Check the air tightness of the pneumatic circuit and the operation of the pressure switch.
- The efficiency of the batteries is crucial to guarantee operation
- We recommend to give back to your dealer cylinders which are expired but not exhausted
- Empty cylinders, by being aluminum / steel, can be recycled as common cans
UP / DOWN CYLINDER PLATES- SCROLLING TEST
The scrolling check is performed by activating the motors without cylinders with the following sequence:
1) Close the jumper W3 thus putting the card in "service mode"
2) Close the P3 jumper in RESET position (right side)
3) Hold down the S1 button, the buzzer beeps and this sequence
begins:
- Motor 1 Down
- Motor 2 Down
- Motor 1 Up
- Motor 2 Up
4) Release the S1 button (In this situation you feel the noise
of the nozzle tamper pump and a slight smoke may be ejected from
the nozzle).
5) Remove the jumper W3
6) With a slight finger pressure on the cylinder plate of the first motor,
then press again S1.
7) After replacing the cylinder plate of the first motor, while keeping
S1 pressed, move the finger to the second cylinder plate.
If you do not want to perform a complete test, but simply to lower A CYLINDER PLATE AFTER activation without the
cylinder, refer to the sequence showed above, starting from step 6.
If there were no problems, scrolling test is over, otherwise contact the service center.
