TACHOMETER

The tachometer indicates the engine
speed in revolutions per minute (r/
min).
ODOMETER/TRIP METER

The display in the speedometer has 3
functions; odometer and 2 trip meters.
When the ignition switch is turned to
the "ON" position, the test pattern
shown below is displayed for 2 sec-
onds. Then the display changes to
odometer or trip meter, as indicated
before turning the ignition switch off.

NOTE:
• UK model's speedometer, odome-
ter and trip meter displays can be
switched between km/h and mph.
Set the meter to odometer, then
press the "SE/.!' button
®
for 2
seconds to switch between km/h
and mph.
• Select km/h or mph, as appropri-
ate, to comply with traffic regula-
tions.
• Check the km/h and mph display
after adjusting the instrument
panel display.
Odometer
The odometer registers the total dis-
tance that the motorcycle has been
ridden.
Trip meters
The trip meters are a resettable
dometer. They can be used for indi-
cating the distance traveled on short
trips or between fuel stops.
To reset a trip meter to zero, push the
"ADJ" button® for 2 seconds.

Operating the display while riding
can be hazardous. Removing a
hand from the handlebars can
reduce your ability to control the
motorcycle.
Alway keep both hands on the
handlebars while riding.

speed in kilometers per hour or miles
per hour.

FUEL METER

The fuel meter indicates the amount
of fuel remaining in the fuel tank. The
fuel meter displays all 5 segments
when the fuel tank is full. The mark
flickers when the fuel level drops
below 5.5 L (5.8/4.8 US/Imp. qt). The
mark and segment flicker when the
fuel drops below 1.5 L (1.6/1.3 US/
Imp. qt).
