Please read first Validity These instructions describe installation, maintenance and troubleshooting tips for the Kaba c-lever and are valid for the 2621 MID, 2622 MID, 2623 MID, 2624 MID, 2621 LEA, 2622 LEA, 2623 LEA and 2624 LEA variants. Target group These instructions are intended for specialist staff involved in the assembly, installation, set-up, servicing and maintenance of this product. -

Installation instructions Installation Tools required • Drill jig or drilling template for the Kaba c-lever • C-clamp - recommended when working with drill jig. • Power drill with 9mm and 13mm drill bits • Various slotted and Philips head screwdrivers ATTENTION A lock that is already in place can be damaged. -

Maintenance The Kaba c-lever requires no mechanical or electronic maintenance! ATTENTION Opening the coupling unit absolves Kaba of any liability under the guarantee! 6.1.1 Replacing the battery - Replace alkaline batteries every year - Replace lithium batteries after a maximum of 2 years Risk of explosion Lithium batteries can explode or burst explosively. - Page 22 5. Refit the inside shield. ATTENTION As old batteries can leak, it is advisable to check the condition of the batteries at regular intervals. To be able to open the door mechanically in an emergency, a lock with a key operated latch must be used or fitted! Unlocking from the inside 1.
