Setup The RL-DBS-2 comes fully assembled and includes the scale and a 120 V or 230 V AC adapter. Immediately after unpacking, visually inspect the RL-DBS-2 to ensure all components are included and undamaged. If parts were damaged in shipment, notify Rice Lake Weighing Systems and the shipper immediately. -

Operation The RL-DBS-2 accurately weighs babies up to 44 lb (20 kg) and features a dual-range capacity for increased precision from 0-22 lb (0-10 kg). The weighing surface also includes a ruler for measuring the length of the baby. The built-in ruler can measure babies up to 22.5 in (57 cm). -

Calibration Firmware Version Prior to 2016 Use the following instructions to calibrate the RL-DBS-2 with an older version of firmware. 1. Ensure the scale is installed on a level surface. The scale needs to be off at the start of the calibration procedure. -

Limited Warranty Limited Warranty Rice Lake Weighing Systems (RLWS) warrants that all RLWS equipment and systems properly installed by a Distributor or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) will operate per written specifications as confirmed by the Distributor/OEM and accepted by RLWS. All systems and components are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two years. -
