Assembly Instructions The RL-DBS Digital Baby Scale comes fully assembled and includes the scale and a 120V or 230V AC adaptor. To set up the scale: 1. Select a sturdy, flat surface on which to place the scale on. 2. Plug in the 120V or 230V AC adaptor. The AC power adaptor plugs into the back of the indicator as shown below in Figure 2-1. -

If the setup procedure failed, refer to the troubleshooting section of this manual. If the problem is not resolved, refer to a qualified service provider. Scale Operation with Tare The RL-DBS Digital Baby Scale can accurately weigh babies up to 44 Lb (20 Kg). Use the following steps to weigh a baby. 1. Press the key to turn the scale on. -

Calibration To perform a calibration, connect the AC adaptor or install four (4) AA batteries and ensure that the scale is sitting on a level surface. The scale can be calibrated with either Lb or Kg weights. The unit is defaulted to calibrate with Lb weights so if you are using LB weighs, proceed to Steps 1-7 (below). -
