Section 4 – Securing your child (Step 1 – Adjusting
and fastening the inner padding and strap).
NOTE!
The ISOFIX points installed in the vehicle are metal
brackets positioned between the base and back of the
seat. They may be covered by the seat cover or plastic
caps. Please see your vehicle's manual for further
information on where the points are found, and how
they can be uncovered.
WARNING!
Children sitting in the TAKATA MINI I-SIZE must
always be secured via the integrated strap system.
CAUTION!
[Airbag Warning] The TAKATA MINI I-SIZE may
not be used on the front passenger seat in a backward-
facing position with the airbag activated. If the passenger
airbag has been deactivated and the vehicle's manu-
facturer has approved the seat as suitable for use with
i-Size child car seats (i-Size or ISOFIX, or also G0+
according to UNECE-R44), you may use the TAKATA
MINI I-SIZE in this position. When using the TAKATA
MINI I-SIZE in this way, always follow the vehicle
manufacturer's instructions regarding:
