OPERATION Our Model PA2 Paging Switch is designed to connect to an Analog extension of a conventional PBX telephone system, or an FXS, FXO or ATA port of an IP telephone system. It can also be connected direct to an analog PSTN telephone line, for special applications such as telephone exchange based PBX solutions. -

Paging call. This process is fully automatic. When PA2 is installed on a PBX system, the Hang Up tone generated may be outside of the cadence and frequency normally used in the AUSTRALIA for Hang Up tones. - Page 7 PA2 is pre-programmed to automatically HANG UP the paging call after the detection of Two AUSTRALIAN Specification Hang Up tones. PA2 is calibrated to look for AUSTRALIAN specification Hang Up tones (see page 6). You can change the detection parameters or disable this facility (refer pages 9-11).
- Page 8 The SYSTEM port of the Paging Amplifier connection cable has a modular (RJ11 6 pin) connector to connect to the PA SYSTEM Port of PA2 Switch, using the supplied RJ11 to RJ11 cable. The SOURCE port of the Paging Amplifier connection cable has a modular (RJ 4 pin) connector which should connect to the supplied Audio Cable with the RCA Audio plug.
