Air Cleaner

Changing Air Cleaner Element
Use a new Honda Genuine air cleaner
element or an equivalent specified for your
motorcycle.
NOTICE
Using the wrong air cleaner element may cause
premature engine wear or performance problems.
1. Remove the left side cover.
2. Remove the air cleaner housing cover by
removing the screws.
3. Pull the retainer out and remove the air
cleaner element.
4. Disconnect the tube from the air cleaner
element.
5. Install the new air cleaner element.
u Make sure the air cleaner element is
installed securely.
6. Install the parts in the reverse order of
removal.
