WATER-BASED THERMAL EXCHANGE COILS
The heat exchange coils are installed with horizontal pipes.
The circuit pipes must have a size based on the nominal flow rate calculated from the thermal output of
the project and indicated in the data sheet of the unit.
Do not use the heat exchange coil connections to support the weight of the piping. It is neces-
sary to prepare appropriate fasteners and brackets (not supplied).
Shut-off valves must be included to exclude the heat exchange coil from the water circuit.
In the heating coils, a stopped fan could lead to the overheating of the stagnant air in the ma-
chine, with possible consequential damage to the motor, bearings, insulation and parts made of synthetic
material. To avoid such eventualities it is advisable to design the system so that a stopped fan will also stop
the passage of the heat transfer fluid.
