BLADE GUIDING

1. The blades guides help to ensure that the saw
blade is guided straight. This in turn will provide for
clean accurate cuts. When using narrow blades
make sure that the lower blade guide completely
supports the blade from both sides and from the
rear.
2. Set the side bearings of the upper blade guide to
approximately 0.019" (0.5mm) from the blade, and
the bearing against the back of the blade, just short
of touching it. Do not set the bearings too close, as
the friction generated may have an adverse effect
on the bearings as well as the saw blade.

ADJUSTING TABLE ANGLE

1. If working table is to be used at an angle, make
sure to install the angle core board.
2. Loosen wing nut (A) and adjust working table to
the desired angle using the numbers on the angle
gauge (B).
3. When the table is at the desired angle, tighten the
wing nut (A) securely so that the working table will
not move during operation.
