G. Service or replace throttle control assembly
as required by reversing above procedures,
then set throttle adjustment at engine as
follows:

Close hood and securewith hood Iatchesand
test unit for proper operation.
CHOKE CABLE REMOVAL AND
REPLACEMENT:
A
WARNING:
T o avoid accidental starting, re-
move spark plug wires a n d secure away from
spark plugs.
A. Unclip hood latches and raise hood and
secure in upright position.

D. Remove throttle control knob by prying off of
control lever.

Remove two screws attaching throttle control
assembly t o instrument panel.
F. Push throttle control lever through slotted
hole in instrument panel. Remove throttle
control assembly from tractor.
B. Loosen choke cable clamp screw, o n left side
of carburetor, (Fig. 29) just far enough so
choke cable can be removed. Remove end of
cable from choke lever.
C. Remove self tapping screw securing throttle
cable, choke cable and wire harness through
cableclamp o n top of engineshroud. (Fig. 30)
Pull chokecableout through plastic grommet
in air dam and through cable ciarnp.
a. Move throttle c o n t r o l lever u p t o the
"FULL FAST" position. (Fig. 31) Attach
end of throttle cable to speed control
lever and pullcable to theleft, until finger
o n speed control lever touches tang. (Fig.
29) Slip cable under cable clamp screw
and tighten cable clamp screw.
