CALIBRATION

7.1

Traceability

The calibration of this instrument is traceable to national standards. For this reason
the instrument should only be calibrated in an accredited e.g. NIST (U.S.) or UKAS
( U . K . ) standards laboratory.
If these facilities do not exist it is recommended that the instrument be returned to
Kahn Instruments Inc. or one of its approved agents.
A calibration certificate bearing a seven point calibration is issued with each
instrument.
Figure 7.1 shows a typical seven point calibration certificate.
