Device configurations

The following table lists all available configurations of the GS01 gas detector,
which meet the specific safety requirements of IEC 61508 and IEC 61511:

The above GS01 configurations are selected during commissioning of the device.
The configuration is implemented as iParameter i.e. individual or technology
specific device parameters in PROFIsafe [RD 3]. The controller shall be set up
with the corresponding iParameter for each detector address for verification of the
configuration. Communication is not possible when the IPAR_CRC value is not
assigned.
