This document explains how to install, configure, and test the NI PXIe-5650/5651/5652
(NI 5650/5651/5652) as a stand-alone device. The NI 5650/5651/5652 is a continuous-wave
RF signal generator with modulation capability. The NI 5650/5651/5652 ships with the
NI-RFSG instrument driver, which you use to program the device.

    If you are using a PXI controller, verify that a National Instruments entry appears in the system device list. Reinstall NI-RFSG and the device if error conditions appear in the list.
