Electrical connection
 All electrical work must be carried out by a suitably qualified
electrician in accordance with local and national safety codes.
– The electrical installation must be in compliance with current local
and national safety regulations!
– The plug connection must comply with national regulations. (The
electrical outlet must be accessible after the appliance has been
installed.) This facilitates access, for example when the appliance is
being repaired or serviced.
– If the dishwasher is hard-wired to the power supply, a main switch
capable of disconnecting the dishwasher at all poles must be
installed. This master switch must have a contact gap of at least
3 mm and also be lockable in the off-position.
– For increased safety, it is recommended that the machine be
connected upstream to a ground fault circuit interrupter with a trip
current of 30 mA (DIN VDE 0664).
– If necessary, an equalization of the potentials must be carried out.
– The power cord may only be replaced with an original Miele part.
– For technical data, see the data plate or the attached wiring
diagram!
The appliance must only be operated with the voltage, frequency, and
fuse rating shown on the data plate.
This appliance can be converted to a different type of power
supply in accordance with the conversion diagram and wiring
diagram supplied.
The conversion diagram and the data plate are supplied with the
appliance.
The ground lead must be connected to the screw connection point
(marked with the ground symbol ) at the back of the machine.
WARNING
THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE GROUNDED
