3. Install the bolt (M10-1 x 40 mm), 2 flat washers, and
the hex nut (M10) onto the bracket plate and pivot pin
as shown Box B of
Figure
Note: Use the washers to center the bracket and plate.
4. Tighten all of the hardware that is securing the brackets
to the machine (Box C of
5. Torque the bolts to 972 to 1198 N-cm (86 to 106 in-lb).
6. Torque the bolts (M6) to 972 to 1198 N-cm (86 to 106
in-lb).
7. Remove the bolt (M10–1 x 40 mm), 2 flat washers, and
the hex nut from the bracket plate and pivot pin (Box
B of
Figure
7).
8. Install the sensor magnet bolt and hex nut into the
pivot assembly as shown in Box D of
9. Install the sensor onto the bracket using 2 bolts (M4
x 10 mm) and 2 nuts (M4–0.7 inch) as shown in Box
E of
Figure
7.
Note: Use thread-locking compound on the bolts if
the locknuts are not nylon locknuts.
10. Place the cam assembly in the H
ensure that the notch in the magnetic sensor bolt is
lined up with the wires on the sensor as shown in
Figure
8.

11. Ensure that the gap between the magnetic sensor bolt
and the sensor is 0.12 to 0.24 inch.
12. Secure the sensor to the bracket with a cable tie as
shown in
Figure
13. Torque the bolts (M4) to 2.2 to 2.7 N-m (19 to 23 ft-lb).
14. Attach the sensor-harness adapter to the R-clamp on
the bracket and attach the adapter to the sensor as
shown in
Figure
15. Use the sensor harness adapter to connect the sensor
to the wiring harness of the machine.
