Important: Move the rod loader assembly as far
as possible so that there is not a gap between the
rod-loader pivot and the loader assembly

5. Slide the pivot pin out to allow the installation for the
washer (Figure 4).

6. Install the thick washer.
Note: If the gap is not large enough for the thick
washer, install the thin washer.
7. Install the pivot pin.
8. Install the retaining bolt previously removed and the
locknut included in this kit as shown in
Figure 5
1. Flange locknut (new)
9. Torque the bolt to 23 to 29 N-m (17 to 21 ft-lb).

Installing the Rod Loader
Sensor
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Rod-loader sensor
1 Bracket
1 Plate
2 Flange nut
2 Bolt (M6–1 x 16 mm)
1 Hex nut (M10)
2 Flat washer
1 Bolt (M10–1 x 40 mm)
2 Bolt (M4 x 10 mm)
2 Nut (M4)
1 Sensor harness adapter
Procedure
1. Apply thread-locking compound to the bolts removed
in Step 2 in 1 Installing the Rod Loader Spacer (page
2) and loosely install the bracket using the bolts and
R-clamp as shown in
2. Loosely install the plate on the bracket using 2 bolts
(M6–1 x 16 mm) and 2 flange nuts as shown in Box
A of Figure 7.
