Operation

Burner without modulating operation kit
Once the start-up cycle is completed, the servomotor command
moves on to the thermostat/pressure switch TR that controls the
pressure or the temperature in the boiler.
 If the temperature or the pressure is low (so the thermostat/
pressure switch TR is closed), the burner progressively
increases the output as far as the MAX value (point " P9").
 If the temperature or the pressure increases as far as the
opening of the thermostat/pressure switch TR, the burner
progressively reduces the output as far as the MIN value
(point "P1"),. The sequence repeats endlessly.
 The burner stops when the heat request is less than the heat
supplied by the burner at MIN output.

Motor lockout

If the motor does not start, it could be because of a thermal relay
intervention due to its incorrect calibration or problems with the
motor or the main power supply, to release press the button of the
thermal relay, see "Calibration of the thermal relay" on page 21.
6.14

Ignition failure

If the burner does not switch on, there is a lockout within 3s of the
electrical supply reaching the gas valve.
It is possible that the gas does not reach the pilot within the safety
time of 3s.
Then, increase the output of the gas pilot through the gas regula-
tor 1)(Fig. 33 on page 33).
In the event the burner stops, in order to prevent
any damage to the installation, do not unblock the
burner more than twice in a row.
ATTENTION
If the burner locks out for a third time, contact the
customer service.

within 1s.

 The thermostat/pressure switch TL opens, the control box
carries out the switching off phase.
 The air damper closes completely to reduce heat losses to a
minimum.
Burner without modulating operation kit (with control box
REC37 only)
As an alternative to control through TR, the command for burner
modulation can be made also using a 4-20 mA signal.

In the event there are further lockouts or faults
with the burner, the maintenance interventions
must only be carried out by qualified, authorised

personnel, in accordance with the contents of this
manual and in compliance with the standards and
regulations of current laws.
