Troubleshooting

Problem
The lube level is not visible in the
sight glass.
No flow from pump outlets.
Leaking from under pump.
Leaking from reservoir drain plug.

1. Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure in your
pump manual before checking or repairing the
lubricator.
2. Check all possible problems and causes before
disassembling.
Cause
Low oil level in reservoir.
The camshaft is not rotating
because the rotary power source is
defective.
The camshaft is broken.
There is a pump issue.
The gasket is defective.
Insufficient thread sealant.
Troubleshooting
Solution
Add oil. See Lube Refill/Replace,
page 9.
Check the Drain Plug and tighten, if
needed.
Repair/replace the rotary power
source.
Replace the lubricator box.
Refer to the Troubleshooting section
of the pump instruction manual.
Replace the gasket.
Clean and replace the thread
sealant (user supplied).
