4 Operating the Main Unit

4.1 Switching the Main Unit On or Off

Turning the Power On
1. Switch on the TMA Grand Master (first, the main switch on the back panel – see Figure 2 (2),
then the one in the front – see Figure 1 (7)).
2. Turn the control computer and the monitor on.
Turning the Power Off
Each time you finished working with TMA Grand Master, do the following:
1. Close the software application on the control computer.
2. Switch off the TMA Grand Master.
3. Turn the control computer and the monitor off.

4.2 Starting the TMA Grand Master Application

You can start the program by double-clicking onto the program icon of the desktop.
Warning!
If you start the software, but the hardware is turned off, a warning message appears.
Switch on the main unit then click Retry in the message box.
Warning!
If you receive a warning message after starting the software, that informs you about
having insufficient disk space on your designated drive, free up a necessary amount of
disk space, then restart application.
