- Page 5 LEVELING USING THE FEET If the New Order bottom shelf is not level, adjust it by partly unscrewing the four IDENTIFYING BOTTOM SHELF adjustable feet. They can either be adjusted by unscrewing by hand or with an allen key. The bottom shelf has black adjustable nylon feet mounted in each corner. GETTING THE BASE LEVEL Place a spirit level on the bottom shelf in order to check whether the base is level.
- Page 6 MOUNT SINGLE PROFILE SET SCREW PLACEMENT Mount the single profile in each corner of the shelf. When mounting the profiles to the shelf make sure that the set screws are pointing towards the middle of the shelf.
- Page 7 IDENTIFYING TOP SHELF The top shelf has only connectors on the bottom side and a flat top. Insert top shelf into all four profiles. AVOIDING GAPS Make sure that the profiles are pressed firmly against the shelf leaving no gaps. Any gaps can lead to difficulties later on in the assembly process.
- Page 8 SET SCREW PLACEMENT MOUNTING CUSHION Each profile contains set screws that lock into the shelf in order to stabilize the construction. Peel off the paper protecting the adhesive tape. When you have finished building the New Order Bench make sure to tighten all set screws. MOUNTING CUSHION Apply the cushion to the shelf.
- Page 9 1 1. Ready for use. MOUNTING CUSHION When in place, make sure to apply sufficient pressure along the adhesive strips so that they fasten completely to the top shelf. 1 1. ADJUST CUSHION In case of incorrect placement, adjust the cushion by lifting it up from the velcro and place it correctly according to the perimeter of the top shelf.
