4.3.3

Parameter setting request (local node)

(1) Function
This request is used to set the local node parameters of the DN311. This request can
be issued only when the DN311 is in standby mode.
After setting the local node parameters and slave device parameters, set the DN311
in run mode (transmission enabled) by following 4.3.5 Operation mode control
request. If the slave device parameters have already been set in the non-volatile
memory of the DN311, set only the local node parameters, then set the DN311 in run
mode by an operation mode control request. (Local node parameters cannot be set
in the non-volatile memory.)

(3) Description of operation
(a) When REQ is TRUE, the local node parameter setting request for the module
specified by CH, UNIT, and SLOT is processed.
(b) PARA_LOCAL is explained in the next item.
(c) After processing the local node parameter setting request, DONE is turned
TRUE.
(d) If the local node parameter setting request is not completed in 2 seconds or more
due to an error or the like, ERR and DONE are turned TRUE.
(e) Completion status is output to STATUS.
(f) If REQ is FALSE, both DONE and ERR turn FALSE.
(g) When this function block is started (when REQ is turned TRUE), keep REQ
TRUE till DONE becomes TRUE.
