2.4 Mechanical Specifications
The COMe-C55-CT6 is a COM Express board, Compact form Factor type;
therefore its dimensions are 95 mm x 95 mm (3.74
Printed circuit of the board is made of twelve layers, some of them are ground
planes, for disturbance rejection.
According to COM Express specifications, the carrier board plug can be of two
different heights, 5mm and 8mm.

Whichever connector
s height is chosen, in designing a custom carrier board please
remember that the SO-DIMM connector on bottom side of COMe-C55-CT6 is 4mm
high (it is the component with the maximum height).
This value must be kept in high consideration when choosing the carrier board plugs
height, if it is necessary to place components on the carrier board in the zone under
®
the COM Express
module.
