If flammable gases are lighter than air, the inlet con-
nection to each enclosure must enter near a bot-
tom corner. the outlet connection, for an optional
oUtlEt
enclosure protection vent or piping to an adjacent
protected enclosure, must exit near an extreme op-
posite top corner.
If flammable gases are heavier than air, inlet and outlet
connections must be reversed.
In all cases, the most prevalent gas must determine
the location of inlet and outlet connections.
