The N6841A RF Sensor must be installed by a trained professional or systems
integrator familiar with outdoor electronic equipment installations, and
regulatory limits, guidelines and code defined by the governing body of the
country in which the unit will be installed. This section lists the required
equipment and model numbers and explains how to select and survey the
installation site.
To ensure safe and durable wiring,
installation of the Keysight N6841ARF
Sensor must follow appropriate
electrical and building codes.
Follow the National Electrical Code
(NEC) requirements, and additional
local codes that may take precedence.

Power Supply

The N6841A RF Sensor can be purchased with an optional AC power supply
that may only be used for indoor sensor installations. The power supply is
Keysight PN 0950-6131. This power supply has a 1.8 meter (6 foot), country-
specific AC cord. Additionally, the power supply has a 1.8 meter (6 foot) DC
power cord. Therefore, the RF Sensor site must have a mains connection
within 3.8 meters (12 feet).
WARNING: The N6841A-SP1 optional power supply (PN
0950-6131) is for indoor use only, and may only be used
when the RF Sensor is indoors.
