Connecting the Machine to a Computer

Use a USB cable to make the connection to the computer.
Be sure to make the connection between the machine and the computer during the course of installing the driver.
Connecting the USB Cable
Never attempt to connect a USB cable before starting installing the driver. If the cable connection is made
before you start installation of the driver, driver installation may fail and the machine may become unusable.
Use a shielded USB cable having a length of 3 m or less.
Never use a USB hub or the like.
