6.1 16-Bit Timer Functions

The 16-bit timer has the following functions.
• Timer interrupt
• Timer output
• Buzzer output
• Count value capture
(1) Timer interrupt
An interrupt is generated when a count value and compare value matches.
(2) Timer output
Timer output can be controlled when a count value and compare value matches.
(3) Buzzer output
Buzzer output can be controlled by software.
(4) Count value capture
A count value of 16-bit timer counter 90 (TM90) is latched into a capture register synchronizing with the
capture trigger and retained.
