6.13 Stabilising Bar

Folding stabilising bar
This bar is used to stabilise the backrest. To be able to
fold the wheelchair, the release lever must be pushed
inwards (Fig.6.13.1) or released and the stabilising must
be flipped downwards.
When unfolding the wheelchair, please make sure that the
stabilising bar is locked into position.

6.14 Transit Wheels

Transit wheels
Transit wheels should be used whenever your wheelchair
would be too wide if the rear wheels were fitted,
(Fig.6.14.1).
After the rear wheels have been removed with the aid of
the quick-release axles, the transit wheels can
immediately be used to continue riding, (Fig.6.14.2).
The transit wheels are mounted so that they are
approximately 30 mm above the ground when not in use.
They are therefore, out of the way when riding,
transporting, or when tipping to pass over obstacles.
DANGER!
Without rear wheels, your wheelchair has no wheel
locks.
There is a risk of the chair tipping backwards.
