This function is having improved convenience for checking wiring connections and
operation of switches. Resistance threshold is being used. A continuous beep sound
together with display backlight flashing indicates a complete wire. Such audible and
visible indications improve continuity readabilities in noisy working environments.

●Reading indication: Forward voltage drop (forward biased) for a good silicon diode
is between 0.400V to 0.900V. A higher reading indicates a leaky diode (defective). A
zero reading indicates a shorted diode (defective). An over-range display indicates an
